Fix the Flow

Project Type: UX & Web Design

Role: UX Lead, Art Director

Tools: Adobe Suite, Figma, Google Suite, Directus

Clients: Bayard Jeunesse, Edoki Academy, Owlkids

Helping parents say yes – faster.

When it comes to family-focused subscriptions, great design doesn’t just look good – it guides decisions. I worked across three leading children’s media brands Bayard Jeunesse, Edoki Academy, and Owlkids to rethink their subscription journeys from the ground up.

Each project tackled a different angle: untangling too many choices, designing intuitive flows, or creating brand-new platforms from scratch. But the mission was shared: make things clearer, faster, and more delightful for the people using them. I led UX strategy, design, and visual direction to create systems that feel easy, trustworthy, and made for families.

No More Guesswork

Bayard Jeunesse’s subscription model had strong offerings—but a confusing layout.

Multiple tiers, variable content, and two payment rhythms (monthly and yearly) were all crammed into a dense comparison table especially hard to parse on mobile. I redesigned the subscription experience around clarity: a simplified card-based tier system with a clean toggle between monthly and annual pricing.

This shift made it easier for parents to compare at a glance, understand what they’re getting, and feel confident clicking “Add to Cart.”

One Cart to Rule Them All

Gift buyers wanted flexibility. Owlkids needed simplicity.

I redesigned their checkout flow to support multi-child orders, age-specific magazine bundles, multiple addresses, and gift-giver options – all in one go. With smart defaults, intuitive switching, and built-in reminders when a child outgrows a title, the system adapts as kids grow (and as gifters breathe easier).

Not Just a Pretty Homepage

The Edoki Club website was long overdue for a glow-up.

I led a full redesign to replace the outdated look with something fresh, modern, and brand-aligned. But it wasn’t just about aesthetics. We needed to clearly communicate the value of subscribing. Montessori games! No ads! One price for the whole family! while gently capturing emails for ongoing marketing. With bold visuals, strategic messaging, and a friction-free flow, the new site is as smart as the app it sells.
