A calm, inviting 3D world paired with charming 2D games – every animation crafted to support Montessori-inspired learning and gentle focus.
When we reimagined the Montessori Preschool app, I led the visual and motion direction at every level. I modeled cozy 3D environments, animated playful objects and scenes, and shaped intuitive UI moments to feel warm, clear, and naturally engaging for young kids.
Think: interactive sand writing, colourful 2D activities, soothing bedtime soundscapes, and polished app previews that show it all off in the App Store. Everything is designed to feel soft, tactile, and quietly magical.
Full art direction and lead animation by me, with a focus on gentle charm, mindful movement, and trust-building design.
Building a 3D World
I helped transition the app’s core environments and characters into 3D, modeling playful, tactile spaces that support immersive learning. I modeled and animated playful 3D environments, props, and outfits – bringing new depth and tactility to the app. These interactive scenes feel more dynamic, immersive, and perfectly scaled for little learners.

Animated for Action
Whether tracing letters in the sand or winding down to gentle soundscapes, I animated dozens of mini-games with intuitive, rewarding motion. Each loop is designed to spark delight, reinforce progress, and make screen time feel more like play.
Working With Chirp
For our collaboration with Chirp, I animated game interactions while preserving the original brand style and character artwork. This meant designing expressive, lively sequences that respected licensing constraints while still feeling fluid and fun for little learners.
Tiny Touches, Big Impact
Loading screens, end-of-game moments, subscription page – I added thoughtful motion to make the app feel smooth, joyful, and easy to navigate.
