I’m Vanessa Forte, a passionate children’s illustrator creating from the vibrant city of Montreal, Canada. I find immense joy in drawing whimsical and cheerful illustrations that breathe life into stories and spark the imagination of young minds. In my work, I strive to capture the essence of childhood wonder and curiosity, infusing each piece with a sense of joy, whimsy, and a touch of magic. My illustrations are not just images; they are gateways to enchanting adventures, fostering a sense of delight and discovery in the hearts of children.

My artistic adventure began after I completed my studies in Illustration at Dawson College. This led me to a fulfilling role as an artist at WowWee, a renowned children’s toy company, where I had the opportunity to infuse playfulness and creativity into physical products. With the knowledge and experience gained from working in toys, I took a bold step in a new direction. I now serve as the Art Director at Studios 7, where I have the privilege of creating enchanting visual experiences for young audiences. I have also embarked on a freelance career, which allowed me to expand my horizons and collaborate with various clients on diverse projects.

As I continue to evolve and grow in my artistic journey, I look forward to sharing more stories, dreams, and vibrant creations with the world.
